Years
Years are counted from major storm or river flooding events, especially those of cataclysmic proportions, the most recent of which was the great Blackstone Tempest, some 350 years ago. The current year is typically referred to as “350 years the Tempest” and perhaps written as “350 Tempest”.
The calendar is split into 10 months of 36 days, and a special 5 day festival is observed shortly after midsummer at the end of June.
The months are: January, February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November, and December.
